Aloha Teammates!

I got this idea from the FAS Forums! Idea

The Systema Magnum / Turbo Motor has a flaw in it's design. The only insulation between the terminals and the Aluminum Bell housing is it's Aluminum Red/Blue Anodizing. Meaning when the voltage spike reaches 24V or more your motor will ground itself blowing your fuse. If you have no more fuse in your gun then.....your Lipoly battery will go Kaboooom! affraid Same with Ni-Cad batteries.

At the FAS Forum they used fiber washers and at the end of the thread thay suggested using Mylar Plastic isulators. Which I used in this DIY project. I took some photos while doing it so here it is:

Dismantle your Magnum / Turbo Motor: The allen screws are plastic so be gentle!

Now cut your Mylar sheet to the size and shape of the bell housing:

I extended the Mylar insulation to the side as well as the base of the terminals becasue it may also ground the motor there.

Punch guide holes and expend them using an inscence stick, drill, katol, soldering iron. Depends on you.

This is how it looks like when installed.

Added photos:

Breaking in the motor at 1V for 15 minutes. Yup the motor is submerged in the water!
